Rossenarra Stud has been operating from its present base near Kells in Co. Kilkenny since 1963. The McEnery family have a long tradition of standing quality commercial stallions. Current residents, Fayruz, Raise A Grand and Saffron Walden are following in the footsteps of Pardal, Polyfoto, Jupiter Pluvious, David Jack and Tanfirion.

Rossenarra Stud has long been regarded as a prolific source of winners. These include THE DEPUTY (Gr.1), HALMAHERA (Gr.3), SWs MASTER FAY (also Group placed), VALERIGA, DACANI, etc. and National Hunt stars RED RUM and BACCHANAL, both multiple Grade 1 winners. In 2006, DIMENTICATA was an impressive 2yo winner and later Group 2 placed.
